"Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did."
1 John 2:6
You no undoubtedly have heard the phrase "Until you walk in the shoes of another, you have no idea what it is like to be them." Well read this verse from 1 John and when read in context with the first 5 verses you will get an understanding of what we are asked to do. To try to walk as Jesus did, to strive to be like him. But we know that He was the only perfect one, unblemished by sin until He carried the weight of ours on the cross.
I pray that you will ask God for the strength to strive to be like Jesus. Pray that in every situation you ask yourself what He would do in the same situation.
If we all do this, what a wonderful world we will live in.

Just ruminating on this entry and started thinking. Move back to 1 John 2:5 for a moment. The One in Whom God's love is complete is Jesus. And through faith in Him, God's love is made complete in us. What do you think?
