Will you be looking for the open door?

If we do things right, pray for God's guidance before we plan, we should see the doors of opportunity opening in front of us. But are you prepared to walk through the doors the God has determined are best for you? If not, if you are looking for the door that you want to walk through, you may miss the opportunity God is presenting you with.

We all have our earthly desires; the house, car, clothes, dining out, vacations. But how can we be sure that the path we take, the things we buy, are what God has planned for us? Well certainly if we use the power of prayer to ask God to do His will and show us the path before we plan it will be easier.

This is easy for me to type on the computer, but much harder to practice. For we are human and have been given free will to sin. This means that in our minds we feel that we know what is best for us. We do not want to submit to God in fear that it may takes us down roads we are fearful of following. But we must fully submit to God's will in order to understand His plan for us.

Pray that you will have the strength to submit fully to Him. When you are anxious, pray for God to take that anxiety away from you and give you peace. For through Him, all things are possible.
